


The Hawai'i Island Area Health Education Center (AHEC) is an organization dedicated to improving healthcare access and quality across Hawai'i Island. It focuses on addressing health disparities in underserved communities through education, training, and workforce development initiatives. By partnering with local schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations, AHEC aims to inspire and prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals. The center also provides continuing education for current practitioners, promotes health careers among students, and supports community health projects. Through these efforts, AHEC seeks to enhance the overall health and well-being of Hawai'i Island residents.
